Definitely, especially if they screamed all the time, for no reason.
I think we'd be chopping down those annoying screeching trees like there's no tomorrow.
It'd make camping a lot less restful too.

Probably not, we would just give them an injection to kill the pain then carry on regardless. That's the way we are.
My late Mother-in-law would neither buy flowers or have them in the house as she thought that flowers cried when they were cut.
Who can prove different. When her children got married they all had artificial flowers...except me. Blotted my copy book even before I stepped through the door. lol

Trees do scream - they can feel pain - it is just on a different wavelength to ours. I always apologise to my shrubs if I have to prune them but I tell them that it is for their own good, but I NEVER EVER EVER cut a tree down.
