Exactly how attached are you to your first born child? What I mean to ask is, what sort of price/payment would need to be offered for you to be willing to give up him/her (preferrably him)? Don't just say something ridiculous just because you want to get more out of the trade. Legitamately. Where is the point that you'd be willing to part?

Seriously think about it. This is important.

I'm not sure that first means anything to me.

I love all of my kids the same. The only thing that would be worth giving them up for would be their happyness.

Love and blessings Don

A child is not a possession to be sold. Perhaps the best way for life to send you a wake up call is to find yourself responsible for another life faced with the challenge of teaching them to be a decent human being.

The deepest rejection a child can feel is abandonment by their parents, and there is no price I would ever be willing to accept for inflicting this wound to my babies heart. I have two girls and this holds true for each.

Usually the only kind of people that would offer to buy a child are not the type to be trusted with a child.

Why would you say preferrably him?
No amount of money could ever make me give up my first born, second born, third born, forth, and so on, boy or girl! They are a part of me and my husband.
(I currently only have one)

I sure wouldn't offer him up to pay an alleged debt incurred by the supposed sinning people of the earth.

No deal. No way.

I think the point you are trying to make is in reference to Leviticus.

My answer would be, "No." There is no price high enough to sell any of my children into slavery, or anywhere else for that matter.
