Why is Islam attractive to Christian Converts & not to Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism or any other faith?

The reason to why I ask its becasue it appears to me that alot of men and women of the Christian faith are converting in mass in places such England, Germany, USA, the Netherlands, and Moldova to Islam.
I am just curious to see why Chritians are choosing Islam over any other religion.
This is not a hate question, I am just curious.

I apologize for posting to much, I hope you can read it all.

Do a little better research. Your statement/question is false.
Be aware that what ever statistic that you may read, are just statistic, and not completely accurate. And, some may bloat the numbers in their favor, just to make it appear appealing to others.

for example, did you know that CAIR in the US, has been bloating the number of Muslims in the US from 4 million to 8 million. Fact. look it up, do the research for yourself.
Did you know that it is illegal to convert from Islam, and it is punishable with death, by the government or any zealous Muslims that may think it is up to them to uphold their laws!
Did you know that those who convert from Islam, do it in private, and try to keep it a secret, and those who come out and declare they are no longer Muslims, they remain Muslims in their books! fact. Look it up yourself.

The Internet is a double edge sword. On the one hand the reader believes they are becoming more aware of what is going on, and on the other hand, the information that are provided are not all true. Don't believe everything you read, or hear. That goes to anything you come across not just religion or politics, even science these days is being edited in favor of those who are doing the editing, such as the global warming and the Oil companies.

Last year, a man was imprisoned for converting to Christianity. If it was not for the national outcry against it. He too woud have been killed for converting away from Islam. A couple not so long ago got killed for converting to Buddhism from Islam. Just to name two of many that we just know about.

Be wise and don't believe everything you read.

In this one it discuss Jesus Christ, and how other view him. Notice that the article is mostly how the Muslims view Jesus Christ and they believe about him, but when it comes to the Muhammad thread it does not discuss how others view Muhammad and what they believe in him!!

As for the articles you added. One didn't open and the other one! it could have been posted by anyone! is it true. I doubt it, and it doesn't matter. Use your better judgment and don't be the prey for those who want to fool you. Be wise.

The Answer:

This is what I noticed why people do convert. Mostly those who convert come from families who are not so close, and not so religious. They feel out of touch and out of place, and want to change. with the added influence of being politically correct! Converting to Islam is easy. All the person has to do is to proclaim their belief in Allah and Muhammad, and it is done. Other religions require study of the religion before converting.

WIth the fast pase, easy way out, those who convert to Islam, just want something new, some because they fail in love with Muslims, and they have to convert if they want to marry their love. and some convert to rebel against their previous religion.
and some simply to survive, and they are afraid. Do you know or recall last year, two men were kidnapped in Isarel by Palestine men, and the only way they were able to stay alive is to convert to Islam. They were forced to convert.

This is not a hate answer. I say live and let live.

Hinduism is the only mainstream religion that accepts that a destructive force exists within the universe. The Hindu universe is controlled by the Trimurti or the Hindu Trinity, comprising Brahma - the Creator; Vishnu - the Preserver; and Shiva - the Destroyer. However its important to understand that the body loses its identity without the soul(Athman) but the soul does not lose its identity.

First, I think you are implying a far greater number of conversions to Islam than actually occur. In reality it is quite rare. Second, most of the people in those countries you mention are Christian, so almost anything you observe anybody doing would be done mostly by Christians. Its like saying "Why is beer so much more attractive to Christians and not to Jews or Buddhist?"

in north america id say that conversion to islam verses going to say almost any of the othre faiths is very rare.

still women who convert to islam without falling in love with a muslim confuse me. the rare person who does with open western values is generally pretty educated. i doubt your claim about masses, except in places where its done because of near force/economic pressure.

every faith including islam has its positives.

for islam pluses include:
- no trinity thing. alot of people fiind that doctrine weird, including some of early christians
- you are allowed to explicitly defend yourself.
- some people like their trad, values although christiand and jews not so different
- supposed to be open to salvation pplf the book. At one time was MORE tolerant than official christianity

Minuses. very hard distinguish religion from tradition
- separation of church and state almost alien to the religion; it was designed to rule. Still many muslims are content within democracy such as turks so shoild be taken with grain of salt.
- People mean or heartless to wives AND DAUGHTERS FROM EVERY FAITH BACKGOUND but seems like Muslims from certain places more likely to have this character
- sharia is unjust
- some muslins much less tolerant of critism or the religion of otjers.
- many ppl live an islam that is closed minded and oppressive

I AM NOT RELIGIOUS AT ALL! but!!!!! if i had t choose a religion, it would be Islam! i grew up in a christian family my life, spent hours and hours at church! my mom was the piano player! my brother is becoming a pastor! but i think christians are just fake! nobody at church practices what they preach! its all just a social endeavor! but when i see muslims i am really moved by their devotion! and just so everyone knows, i am an AMERICAN 100%, not of any arab or middle eastern decent! i am AMERICAN BORN AND RAISED! and i think that islam is beautiful! the way that they want everything to come from the heart! they want everything u do to be pure! not jsut because ur supposed to, but because you want to! buddhism is just too far fetched, judaism doesn't seem so open to converts, i means is being a jew a religion or a nation?

Probably the same reason that the Christians converted in the first place, the Koran is all about the bible and its prophets and prophecies. Muhammad foretold the return of Christ and even pointed out that the king who sits on the throne of David is the king of the Muslims. The natural next step is Baha'i that is the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Bible and the Koran.
