On the 18th of this month, I am getting the next addition to my collection of tattoos. I currently have a babydoll tattoo on my right belly, and one on my right upper arm. I am getting another babydoll, and I am having a hard time choosing placement for this piece. On one hand, I could put it under my upper right arm, creating a half-sleeve of the 2 babydolls. On the other hand, I could put it on my left upper arm, and balance the other one out. But then I ruin the chance of doing a sleeve of a different theme on that arm (I was eventually thinking of Mark Ryden artwork.)

I AM TORN!! I realize the decision is eventually mine, but I would love some input. Here are my current 2 babydolls. (sorry, the picture quality is sorta blurry, but you get the idea.....)

You know what, I am asking because I would really like to know everyone's ideas on it, so there is no need to be snide.....

I love the idea of making a half sleeve with it.

I personally think that if you have honest intentions of getting a sleeve done on the other arm, then you should also have a sleeve on the first arm, therefore I think you should have the tattoo placed on the same arm as the first, and have the beginnings of a very nice sleeve. May I also suggest that you get just a little more colour put into the artwork-I think that tattoos need to have some flash in them to make them more visible (even if it is going on the inside of your arm). Nice tatties too!

I kind of like both ideas to be honest. I think either a half sleeve or two balanced out would look great. I would say that it depends on what kind of person you are. I'm one of those weirdos where I like everything to be equal and balanced out and so I would prob go for one on each side. But at the same time, if you want a half sleeve, same arm might be the way to go.

I think both would look good...

I am leaning towards putting it with your other tatoo and create a half sleeve. Personally, I don't believe that solo tattoos on each arm are cocmplimentary. But of course, it is your decision. Have fun and no regrets!

I agree, I think your forearm, or like you were saying on the right arm to add to the "sleeve" effect. It's obvious you are getting it cuz you really want it, and not asking "if I should get a tatto" you dont have that uncertainty, so I think any place you decide on will suit you well. Good luck and make sure to show pics when its done!!

i think you should go with the sleeve. that way you leave your other arm open for something else. by the way i like your tattoos. Good LUck.

the one on your arm is pretty cool. um i dont know cuz if you get it under your right arm, it wont be that noticable. have you thoguht about your back o shoulders at all? between the two i would say get it under your right arm. definitely keep the other arm open for a total theme. good luck!

definitely half sleeve of dolls and maybe eventually it could be a 3/4 or full sleeve of creepy a*s*s dolls. a mark ryden sleeve would be so cool. i love a lot of his work.
that's my vote!
