I would never attempt to cut my own hair. If you're low on cash seek out a training center for stylists, it costs less there.

you could find a way to do (cut your own layers) this that may sound good...but it's much harder to do by yourslef because you can't see the back and it may not turn out as good as you want..the risks are too high for something so minor..i suggest just going to a hair salon that's only like 15 bucks for a haircut and ask them to do it..they know what their doing, can take a look at it overall, and have better styling tools..you'll be a lot less stressed and the results will be much better.

yes and this is how i would do it....after you take a shower divide your hair into 3 differnt parts...get the top part and get scissors and start cutting (at an angle) in differnt spots keep some strands of hair longer and make it to where it would be messy....Then once your done with that section go to the next and so forth.....Since you want it to be messy it shouldn't matter it sum are longer than others or cut differently...BUT make sure you don't cute lyk the front part badly....You can razor your hair as well afterwords to give it a edge look...make sure you do it when your hairs wet!

well hope this helped!

In my opinion, you may be better off by gradually cutting out your layers. If you cut them out in one sitting you will be bald-headed. It definitely take a while...I have been growing out my layers for almost a year. I still have a little left on both sides of my head, but other than that the rest of my head is one length.
