Ultimately, no, I can't. It all started around the Big Bang, but before that, we don't have any information.
Now, can you tell me how human ignorance about a topic makes it any more likely that a god exists?

If god can create something out of nothing, why can't evolution.
Maybe the earth and humans evolved out of god.
I agree that evolution can't be the original cause since it is a process. As science points out, there is no self-perpetuating processes (an effect like motion caused by something), which is why science believes the universe has a beginning in the first place.
But because there needs to be some other original cause (if there was infact a beginning), this doesn't mean that evolution is a fantasy.
The reason theories of evolution are so widely held (even by the religious) is because it provides the most 'accurate' model of what we see in the physical world. We don't see things popping in and out of existence (and my point has nothing to do with quantum stuff) but things do clearly adapt (even the clergy participates in deliberate adaptation -- its called botany) -- as to evolution of one species into another, everything we find in God's potential creation -- the planet itself -- points to evolution; including fossils of species that didn't co-exist. Meaning that, at the very least, all species were not created at the same instance or even in a "human" day.
Philosophically, God may have put that evidence there in order to test us but now we have to talk about the nature of your god.
Sorry, but that is the way I see it, and I am created by god, as well.

Yes unfortunately science cannot trace back beyond the big bang.
even the big bang is nothing but a theory and isnt conclusive.
if the big bang is how we came around to be in this universe, how did the big bang form? why did it form? these are questions that border around philosophy.
And since were all gonna die in a number of years that dont go beyond 70 on average, it doesnt really matter does it?
Whatever rocks your boat I guess.
To the believer, its not the current world that matters the most.
Its the one in the hereafter.
Where everyone pays for the consequences of their actions.
That should be the only thing that matters.
Be good to the world and see goodness when youre gone.

The universe comes from natural law. As does the earth, as does the first life, as does evolved life.
Natural law stands alone. It needs no creator.
------
By appealing to the need for a first cause, then asserting your deity fits the bill, you recursively imply your deity must have a creator as well, and you end up with infinite recursion.
Second, let us presume for a moment I was willing to say, "Fine, a deity was involved." You still haven't proven that Yahweh is that deity. It could have been Zeus, Horus, Inuyasha, Gaia, Peter Griffon, Odin, Phillip J. Fry, etc...

I don't believe in God.
There is significantly less evidence (i.e., NONE) to prove the existence of ANY deity around the world than there is to prove evolution.
To accept "God made everything" as ultimate truth is simplistic, lazy, and a betrayal of any form of intellectualism.

Just because you can't explain or prove something doesn't mean you should invent an entity like God to make yourself feel better.
When I don't know the answer for a question, I simply choose to say "I don't know" over letting my imagination go wild.

Earth was formed by gravitational forces. Humans evolved from the primordial soup.

Evolution deals with evolution. Abiogenesis (look it up - wikipedia, say?) deals with the origin of life. Thank you.
