What would the world be like today if : All the time , effort , resources and money that religion has taken...

instead went towards science .

It would be much better. It would be harder to fuel war. It would be harder to make stupid laws based on superstition. And that doesn't even include the great boon to science that all those billions of dollars would provide.

It wouldn't go to science. Man would spend it on himself.
