A couple of days ago this girl I like applied where I work. And I think that would be pretty cool if she did work there, I worked with her at my last job, and she was a hard worker and always showed up on time, so should I ask my manager who is really cool btw if he will hire her or should I just wait to see if she gets hired?

thanks

You can recommend her, I did that with a guy I knew, I told my boss he was a really good worker with a good attitude and good manners and he got hired. She was pleased to have a bit of extra knowledge that he would be worth hiring.

It would help if you did put in a good word for her. Letting him know just what you said, that she is a hard worker and always shows up on time. Some managers does not like to hire people who know each other personally like that, but seeing how you say your manager is cool it shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't think

I wouldn't. Thats the last thing a manager intentionally wants is two people more interested in each other than getting the job done. But if she really wants a job and you would like her working there, tell her to do an application and be ready to share during an interview why she is the best candidate for that job.

advise you ask for the administrative. Do call ahead. That way the administrative would be waiting and you have made a very good first effect by lining up an appointment. gown wisely: female, chic, and immaculately presented. ultimate time is in all threat in the process the weekday after the midday rush. That way you are able to come across a table or sales area to start filling out the workplace work and not employing a super form of distractions.

If she is truly a hard worker, then telling your manager about her past work experience is fine. However, if you are just trying to get her hired so that the two of you can talk, screw around, etc., then it is best to just not say anything.

DONT DO IT!!!!!_ it is always bad when you are everywhere with someone you like or have potential to date... for instance if you are at school and work together.....because if feelings do arise in one of you but not in the other it could create akwardness..... or if you start going out and have a wonderful relationship but it ends terribly it would equal a terrible situation.... i am sorry to be the rain on your parade but i am just letting you know what the consequences might be..... try doing stuff out side of work together instead...

I would have to say, "No."

Your reasoning could be construed as clouded by your feelings toward this girl.

She should be hired solely on her own merits. If she were only an acquaintance, then yes, you can put in a good word, but anything else is nearly nepotism.

Go ahead and put in a good word for her, since you have worked with her previously and know her work habits. It may persuade your boss to hire her. Good luck!
