It's not bad for you, for thousands of years people, including children far younger than 15, drank beer and wine DAILY because it was healthier and safer than the water.
A 40 ounce beer "every other day or like 1 a week" is less than 2 beers to 1/2 a beer a day, not enough to cause any health problems unless you had a kidney, liver, or heart disease and you'd be in trouble then even if you didn't drink. As long as he doesn't drop everything else like school and sports then what's the problem?
I drank far more than that when I was 15 and the only thing it did to me was teach me how to handle my liquor.

1 drop is too much - take your friend for a sightseeing trip through your town's skid row to see what his future could look like if he keeps on that track! Seriously - take up a sport or something, but don't waste your lives sitting around getting boozed up!

Tell your friend he's a loser. In fifteen years, uyou can repeat what I said while he sits in the basement apartment of his parents' house.
