i have blond hair, and im out fri girls night out,
sat family meal and sunday at a christening,
any ideas what i can do, my hairdresser is away for two week and didnt tell me, i only like her doing my hair,
any advice welcome.

you could try a black headband.i have a wide black headband i wear between root touch ups and it looks quite glam if you do your makeup glam.

If you get highlights do not try to do the touch up at home, you'll end up with orange or yellow hair. I would recommend asking around and finding a good salon--not a cheap cuttery-- and just getting a root touch up on the highlights. It is best to have a another person that knows how to do your hair in case of an emergency. There are plenty of wonderful stylists out there:)

If you have long hair can you put it up so that the roots aren't quite so obvious? Even a sleek ponytail is quite fashionable so you could get away with that.
Then get your hair done by your hairdresser when she is back without the risk of making a mess of it yourself and no one to help fix it.

go to another hairdresser its only for the once and they can''t really make a mess of your roots, you could though if you dont do it right...Its not worth the risk. use another hairdresser, have a great weekend....

not being funny, if you cant trust any other proffessional hairdresser to do your hair, i really wouldnt do it yourself. i would just take a chance and get it done by someone else, they all know what their doing!

I wouldn't put anything on my hair unless my hairdresser had done it im afraid....
