Big bang? Check the relevant Quran verses.

Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them (4:34).

Women's testimony is equal to half that of a man:
Get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her (2:282).

Polygyny, and sex with slave and captive women:
"If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, (4:3).

Bang!

The Quran says:

Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (Quran, 21:30)

This clearly confirms the Big Bang. What the article is saying that this Big Bang was created by God and that the mass of gasses did not just exist forever.

We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in Six Days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us (Quran 50:38)

The word used for days here is Yawm which can be translated as days or epochs (very long periods of time). So there is no contradiction when we say that the heavens and earth were created in 6 very long periods of time.

God clearly explains that God did not need to "rest" on the 7th day. This is a human attribute not one of God.

Don;t overlook this: the massive Bang is a idea, not an absolute, scientificallt incontrovertible reality. at the same time as the massive Bang idea looks to artwork out properly, it isn't shown to be authentic, and in reality is can not be shown, on account that there grow to be no man or woman cutting-edge on the starting up to take measurements! SO, like numerous theories, solid and undesirable, there's a small chance that the massive Bang idea is purely undeniable thoroughly incorrect. that is a a lot higher chance that the massive Bang idea has some issues which nonetheless decide on to be worked out. SO, scientists proceed to artwork on their THEORIES (not data) in preserving with observable information. yet nonetheless, on account that no man or woman grow to be cutting-edge on the creation of the universe, we are able to not in any respect understand WHAT absolutely the reality IS. there is continuously room for progression in any idea. there is an extremely solid probability that over the subsequent 2 hundred or so years, the massive Bang idea will be changed, or perhaps rejected, as better concepts is got here upon out by skill of clinical study.

Quran does not reject this theory, at all and also confirms that universe was created by Him in phases may be six or more, but without taking any rest Himself. If God was not doing anything 1/7 of the total age of universe, a havoc should have happened since long ago.The entire unverse requires constant survilliance because any oversight or negligence for even the trillionth of second could disturb the equilibrium of sustainability. However what Bible describes as a day must be interpretted in the proper perspective not taken literally, at all.

Well i am a respecting Christian. I did not come here to bash you or make fun or anything mean but to say this alone:
IF the Evolution theory is correct... why then is there no documented account or even a claim since the beginning of the time that man has existed of someone seeing a monkey turn into a man or anything else like this?
When i was a kid and went fishing i saw fish.
I still see the same looking fish today.
Cheers and God bless!

This is what it really says, looks awfully like the Big Bang to me, although the Big Bang has not been proven:

021.030: Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

It doesn't deny it.

It just says it came from nothing because it was created, not without a reason.

"Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?"
Qur'an 21:30

"Then He directed Himself to the heaven and it is a vapor, so He said to it and to the earth: Come both, willingly or unwillingly. They both said: We come willingly."
Qur'an 41:11

"And the heavens We did create with Our Hands, and We do cause it to expand."
Qur'an 51:47

The above verses seem to point to a phenomenon amazingly similar to the Big Bang.

We muslims believe everything in existence was created in phases. And not literal days. as days in Gods level are not the same as days on the earth.

God also does not need to rest. How can he rest when he doesnt get tired?

And yes the Quran was not sent as a book for science. It is a book of social order.

As it is, the only way to God is to live in orderly fashion and to worship no one but Him.

God created everything, but God does not need rest. Perhaps if you actually read the Qu'ran , you would see the foolishness of your question. Evolution is a fairytale, everything comes from God, I don't know about you but I did not come from monkeys. The Qu'ran clearly states God created the universe.

The "Big Bang" theory is XXth century science.
The Koran is one of many interesting centuries old ancient middle eastern tales and legends. It's not a science book, it's a collection of fairy tales and social handbook.
