We can all have peace and love on an individual basis. But on the global scale, not all want peace and love in the exactly the same way. What one finds to be peaceful and loving, another could find distressing and hateful. Peace and love mean different things to different people, so it will always be hard to find a way for there to be peace and love around the world at the same time. As more and more people find peace and love on an individual scale, it will spread out so that others can find peace and love as well. As peace and love spreads from person to person, it will grow to communities and nations. But it is up to each individual to find that place of peace and love within and not worry about what others are doing, as each is responsible for finding their own peace, love and happiness.

The conditioned souls within the clutches of the illusory energy are all anxious to attain peace in the material world. But they do not know the formula for peace. The greatest peace formula is simply this: The Lord is the beneficiary in all human activities. Men should offer everything to the transcendental service of the Lord because He is the proprietor of all.
Everything animate or inanimate that is within the universe is controlled and owned by the Lord. One should therefore accept only those things necessary for himself, which are set aside as his quota, and one should not accept other things, knowing well to whom they belong.
This is the peace formula.

Because the need for perfection, the need to win, and the need to be right outweighs the want for peace and love.
For some reason Humans believe that those feelings will feel better than peace. Silly humans.

Because we disagree on what peace is, what love is, if they're entirely compatible, and on just how to get there.

Ironic, I think, that a disagreement over how to acheive peace... is often the greatest cause of war.

I think it's because there are so many avenues to approach these goals and the travellers on each avenue insist that their method is the only right one, so we end up killing each other over who has the best way to achieve peace and love.

Sad, isn't it?

Because though most will say they want peace and love, most try to achieve it selfishly, or set both aside for lesser desires.

As a whole that'll not happen because of sin. On a personal level I found a lot of peace & love through Jesus.

because the world's fate has already been set in stone.

world peace may come under the three and a half years of rule under the Antichrist, which the Bible does say that there will be peace, but I don't know about world peace.

Cause I want money, nice cars, and beautiful women. Lots of people do, and this creates a competition among men. Some people who have nothing resort to crime, others simply do unethical things to reach new heights. It really is every man for himself, nations simply create stability. Think of the chaos there would be with no countries and no laws, and noone to keep order. People could kill based purely off the urge, sexually frustrated men could just walk around raping who ever they wanted.
