Hi there...consider contacting the person closest to your region in the Bengal Cat Rescue Network to locate a Bengal who needs a home which may not be a kitten, but a youngster. However, there are kittens that someones are rescued at local shelters that go to the rescue network so you may be fortunate enough to locate one.

There some people will sell Bengal kittens or Bengal mixes for a $100-300 that are non-pedigree on Craigslist http://www.craigslist.org or Petfinder http://www.petfinder.com , however there's a great risk that these Bengals may have been inbred which may lead to serious health anomalies such as HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy--enlarged heart), subluxating patella (knee cap trouble), or other health issues. These are the most common problems seen with non-ethical Bengal cat breeders unlike found with TICA Bengal breeders which then later becomes medically financially draining as well as emotionally heartbreaking to take on.

You should try local animal shelters. Just yesterday i was looking into getting a kitten and it surprised me to see a Bengal kitten up for adoption. The shelter said the owners didn't like him cuz he had an extra toe on both front paws and it freaked their daughter out or something. Adoption fees are pretty decent when compared to a breeders fee. They only run $45-65 around here. However, if you want to breed it later then you may have to go through a breeder. Most animal shelters require the animals be fixed now days.

Oh wait...got two cats confused. The bengal doesn't have the extra toes. And it is a mixed breed. Sorry about that.

That is a gorgeous breed! You might contact some breeders and ask them if they have any kittens available that are healthy, but because of their markings or body conformation, may not be up to the breed standards for breeding or showing. You will likely have to sign a contract agreeing to have the cat spayed or neutered. As you want the kitten as a pet, you will find an altered cat to be friendlier and better suited to your household, anyway (less likely to spray, etc.).

Here's a video of a Bengal kitty on Youtube chattering like a human. Sorry, but I don't know any breeders. Maybe Seattle can help you out. He's an exotic cat trainer who is on here a lot. Enjoy this video clip.

Yes, its expensive, my son met the breeder from Melbourne Pet show and we wait 4 mths for her to fly over when she was over 6wks old. I don't where you can get cheaper. we paid nearly $1000 with the flight. but garenttee for a year from any kind of sickness.
Why not try animal shelter, you may be lucky. Good luck.
