Chances are you have an ear infection along with with swollen glands which can result from drainage from your nose running down the back of your throat.
I am also having the same problem right now and have been feeling this way for a week or so. I called my doctor and they said the best thing I had do is get extra sleep and try not to stress too much. By doing that I will help my glands to go down. As far as the ear infection, I was given antibiotics for it and am feeling a bit better.
Remember, take care of yourself. You've only got one body... might as well treat it like gold.

The ears and throat are connected. If one hurts, the other can too. So don't worry too much about it. I bet it's just a bit of a cold, there's a lot of them about at this time of year. Stay in bed for a day, get someone to pamper you and drink plenty of fluids. If you don't feel better in the morning, send your pamperer out for some painkillers and have another day in bed. If you still feel bad after two days, then you might want to go to the doctors. But I bet you'll feel much better tomorrow. Take it easy

You may have an ear infection. Take a decongestant or mucinex and see if you can get it to drain. If your ear is bothering you alot there are homeopathic drops to help with the pain. Most ear infections are viral in nature so going to a doctor for it won't help. The best you can do is treat the symptoms until it clears.

Just sounds like an infection due to an infected lymph node. Probably will just be a minor sore throat or simple cold.

It will probably go away, but drink a lot water. If it doesn't get better, go to the doctor.
It can also be caused by an allergic reaction.
