Do European Union police forces have the right to chase suspects across the border of another EU country? For example, do German police have the right to pursue a runaway vehicle into the Netherlands?

what would happen was once you crossed into the Netherlands you would be picked up by euro pol and sent back to Germany

No. A police force's power ends at the border. They can assist the other countries police force in apprehending the criminal, but they cannot arrest or be physcially involved in the case.

Not sure, but it may turn out that when you get to Netherlands, their police chase you, and then hang you over to the German police.

Chances are you wouldn't clear the border guard before the cops chasing you caught up to you and placed you in custody. Furthermore, they would likely call ahead to the border post and ask them to detain you until they arrived. Either way crime doesn't pay so keep your nose clean and stay out of trouble.

yes, with permission, but there are plans to create a special force that will investigate across border crimes, interpol can and do investigate, but do not have many powers.

I don't believe it! No they do not but will be able to soon, because our useless government gives in to everything and legislation is being put forward to allow this. Interpol are not allowed to do this!
