Can I buy a return ticket over the counter from any airport in the world?

In particular Bahrain airport

As long as your airline has a ticket counter/salary there. Otherwise its best book a ticket over the net or book a return ticket that has an open date (you can use it anytime up to the experience date). Always keep in accoynt that flights could be fully booked. Johan

Just about. As long as the airport has the technology to issue tickets on any carrier. Perhaps some 3rd world airport in Africa might not be able to, but certainly Bahrain airport would be able to do that for you.
