My bf talks about what he wants me to get him for his birthday and is forgetting that valentine's day is before his birthday. I dont think he will do anything because he is more focused on his birthday then anything else. I am constantly battling myself, thinking should I stay or should I go. What should I do??

Does he celebrate your birthday? If so, you should get him something. Valentine's day is seperate and if he doesn't get you anything, don't get him anything. All relationships are different and people celecrate different things. If the gift issue is more important to you than he is, break up with him

Valentine's Day is a commercialized holiday. Does your man show you love and affection the other 364 days of the year? Mine does and I don't want anything for Valentine's Day.

I think that you should remind him to stay focus you know he has a birthday coming up, but Valentine Day is first, what are you going to get me.

It sounds like you've already made a decision, but can't bring yourself to carry it out.
Look at it this way, we're only on this planet for a brief time; do you want to spend that time miserable or happy? The choice is all up to you.

He is definately a self-centered selfish person. I'd drop him like a "hot potatoe" so fast it would make his head spin. Lot's of women get taken advantage of by their guy's and it's time women wake up and realize that guy's in general are just using you for what they can get.

Maybe he is pretending so when he does do something it will be a big surprise. Guys think that way, not realizing girls may think that we are stupid. If he is usually good with B-day's Christmas and so on, he will be good for you on V-day.

Maybe he cares about your birthday more than Valentine's too... not all guys are into artificially imposed holidays!

Find a new boyfriend, he is obviously caught up in himself too much.
