That depends on the area you want to build in, and the level of trim. Labor and material costs vary by region. Types and scales of construction have different costs. Window schedules can vary greatly, depending on manufacturer and type. Look at new homes in the area. Notice what builders are using for products. You want the house to be appropriate for the market. Then get some local people to quote it for you.

it truly depends on the tile, carpet fixtures, cabnettes, windows that you choose for your new home, and the area you build in.calif. holmes have a lot of engineering involved that comes with alot more harware.a low cost is aprox $120.00 per sq. ft. through a reasonable contractor, although if you have time you can act as your own contractor if its your own home and save a ton of money almost $20.00 per sq.ft. wich adds up quickly.you basicly need to know contacts and procedures.its not that hard.a little home work and most important contacts.you dont nessessarly need to have subs contractor for each fase as long as you know your workers are capable. every homeowner has the right to build thier own home.so depending on what you want in your new home and how much effort your willing to put into it to save money is up to you.what did you have in mind? victorbuilder@ y

You can almost" bank" on spending $95.00 -$125.00 for a "standard" 3 bedroom, and for more of a "custom" design anywhere from $125.00 sq.ft.to 195.00sq ft. depending on what area you are in. These prices would reflect NY pricing. Also remember that come spring lumber prices will skyrocket, allowing costs to comparably increase as well. Good Luck.
