Is there a difference between being Godly and god-like?

Sound the same, Godly means possessing God qualities but no in quantity. Like a drop a ocean possess the same qualities of the ocean.

Godly means to be Godly in character, whereas god-like means to be to be as a god type being.

Maybe. Just one God is spelled with a lower case "g" which usually is meant to indicate some other "something" man puts before the true God to worship.

Don`t think so,they appear to mean the same thing,although we can never actually be like God.
