Office romances rarely work out well. If you have the higher position, you could get yourself into a lot of trouble.
If he's in a different department, you might consider trying to date him, but it's still a dangerous situation. He could end up ruining your career if you're not careful.
Honestly, if this guy is really that great, talk to someone in your Human Resources department and find out exactly what the company rules are. They usually tell you that you can't date someone who is not on the same level as you are because it could end up costing them money in a sexual harassment lawsuit.
Honestly, think about your career. Is this guy worth possibly destroying it?

Wow, you are really putting yourself into a difficult and compromising situation. Given that you have a higher position it could be considered sexual harassment to pursue him. Plus, office romances can be quite challenging if it doesn't work out and you still have to work together. In addition it aids to an uncomfortable feeling for others in the office. I would definitely consider dating outside of the office.

If dating him is that important to you, find other employment first or wait for him to find other employment. Office romances are NOT a good idea. How many unsuccessful office romances have you heard about? What makes you think that you'll be any different? If you're falling for him, I know it'll be hard. But as long as you're working for the same company, he should be considered off limits.

It might look good on the outside, but really it makes things weird. I mean if you do go out and you have sex, then in the office you have to face him everyday , so I think it's a bad idea to date someone from the office, Infatuation maybe?

NUMBER 1 RULE KEEP IT OUT OF THE OFFICE! Do whatever you want but not on the job. Remember others under you are watching for you to f*** up so don't blow it.

To hell with the world! If you like someone, go get him! You know what they say about missing out on an opportunity. You may never know what he truly feels if you don't go out of your way tyo tell him.
Think about it.
