no don't braid her hair...
doing grown up styles on young children is what breaks their hair...
you can grease her scalp with tender grease...and nothing too strong....
when we were young I used to get my hair hot combed....
but I'm not sure they make those things anymore...

If the child has scalp problems, I do not think it is a good idea to cornrow her hair. She needs to take tension off of her scalp and grease her hair regularly. Dry scalp is really not a big deal if you keep it greased but if it is not greased regularly, it can turn into a big problem. If she is going to cornrow the baby's hair, just grease the scalp when she comes back to you. Once her hair starts to look badly in the braids, take it down and move on. Her mother probably thinks she is helping and is just trying to be a mother.......so just let her. As long as the hair is not breaking or anything because of the braids, grease the baby's scalp and keep moving until it is time for them to come down.
P.S. - Sulfur 8 is good grease for dry scalp and Liv is good grease for general use.

It is a good idea to braid a baby s hair as long as it is not done too tightly, and no beads, it probably irritates her scalp. One thing that you can do for your grand daughter is get a light oil of all natural ingrediants and oil her scalp lightly because if you put too much, that means more dirt attracted to the scalp. The mama braids her daughter hair because she loves her and this maybe the only way to do it at this time so don't find fault with that, just support and make sure that the braids stay neat until mothers next visit.

I think for a child of color braiding their hair is a great idea because way easier to maintain. When your hair gets braided it does help the hair grew due to the pulling at the root. Dry scalp just grease it and you should be good to go. Oh and I almost forgot to mention make sure the hair is wrapped up once the child is going to bed and that will help prevent it from getting messed up so fast.

braiding her hair is ok, if she has dry scalp, braiding can help, by having the scalp exposed, because of the parts, you can "grease" or rub conditioner in it on a daily basis. Just don't braid her hair too tight, or it will break off.

observed isn't unavoidably a horror, that's a secret. And fairly, definite she would be able to. whether she is scared afterwards she is attentive to this isn't any longer actual, the action picture itself is fairly extremely tame in comparison to maximum horrors inspite of idiots asserting its the scariest action picture ever. yet asserting all of that, the action picture isn't very sturdy. that's frequently extremely boring and not something fairly 'frightening' happens until eventually the staggering 20 minutes. And while it does ensue, that's fairly extremely disappointing. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, people under 14 frequently like that action picture so i might say provide it a shot. There are lots greater advantageous horror's obtainable yet you may prepare it to her and he or she would be able to be fantastic, assured.

Hard as it is to accept, it is not your child, and it's not your business how the mother does her child's hair.
It's probably not a good idea, but your input should be limited to tactful suggestions only, and not too many of them.
