Every now and then my cat comes scratching my bedroom door when i'm sleeping and sometimes i let her in. She doesn't go to sleep like a normal cat would but she stands on my bed and looks at the door like she's hearing noises when i can't hear a thing. She does this for about 30 minutes straight. Or then she's staring at me and i try to go to sleep and sleep for about 40 minutes and when i open my eyes she's still staring at me her face 2 inches from mine. Do you think this is weird??

LOl that is so funny. My cat comes in my room too. Only she likes to sleep at the foot of the bed and just as I'm falling to sleep she run up and bite my face. (it hurts). If I sleep with the covers ovre my head, she sit on my pilllow and goes tap tap tap with her paw to get my attentiion. Then try and remove the covers with her paws. But when she does cuddle and sleep it is sooo worth it!

My cats will often do the same thing at night. First of all, kitty probably is hearing something you’re not but it could be anything from people outside having a chat to a small creature in your floorboards. Or you could have a ghost. As for the staring thing, I think kitty is wondering why you are sleeping. It’s time to play! If it bothers you so much, stuff her under the covers and she’ll go to sleep.

i've got in no way seen or heard of a creepy cat guy. inspite of the certainty that i ought to think of human beings calling the 'cat guy' a tad female. maximum human beings affiliate cat proprietors as being woman, tremendously if there are quite a few cats.

Cats are noctournal creatures( night critters.) she just wants free access to be where you are, she loves you! She may be standing guard, or just not sleepy and likes to look at you, since her schedule is different. They sleep most of the day while we are out!
Not creepy, it is just adoration. Let kitty do her thing and eventually she will curl up at the foot of the bed or in the hollows in the blankets around your body and purr to sleep.
I love this actually. I have one cat though, that wakes me early each morning purring and treading on me ( kneading sort of) another sign of love, love love.
Love her back, and thank her for watching over you!

Leave the bedroom door open so she can come and go. That should solve the scratching problem. And when she stares, stare back.

If you've seen that old Stephen King movie "Cat's Eye", you might be spooked about your cat. Same thing with "Pet Sematary". I'm sure you've heard those old wives tales about how a cat will suck the last breath out of you. Yeah, cats creep me out a little. I prefer a dog any day.

I thought most cats do those things. LOL Cats are nocturnal by nature so tend to be more active at night and sleep more during the day.
