That which has the complete understanding of the "Absolute Truth", as opposed to the "relative truth" is the one to be chosen.
When so many are true to some extent and not complete, but that which has complete truth is the one to be chosen. It should be universal and not sectarian.
Consider the following for your judgment and decide it for yourself

Yet man professes to belong to a particular type of faith with reference to particular time and circumstance and thus claims to be a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or any other sect. Such designations are non-sanatana-dharma. A Hindu may change his faith to become a Muslim, or a Muslim may change his faith to become a Hindu, or a Christian may change his faith and so on. But in all circumstances the change of religious faith does not effect the eternal occupation of rendering service to others. The Hindu, Muslim or Christian in all circumstances is servant of someone. Thus, to profess a particular type of sect is not to profess one’s sanatana-dharma. The rendering of service is sanatana-dharma.
Factually we are related to the Supreme Lord in service. The Supreme Lord is the supreme enjoyer, and we living entities are His servitors. We are created for His enjoyment, and if we participate in that eternal enjoyment with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, we become happy. We cannot become happy otherwise. It is not possible to be happy independently, just as no one part of the body can be happy without cooperating with the stomach. It is not possible for the living entity to be happy without rendering transcendental loving service unto the Supreme Lord.

I have a friend that went all around the world for several years looking for the right person to marry. He finally married someone from South America. Their marriage ended six months later. Similarly when choosing a religious process, depending on the degree of sincerity and desire, the more advanced process will come to you. There are bona fide religions for materialists and there are more advanced processes for those who are more spiritualistic. Ultimately the best process is the one that demands 100% spiritualism.

A lot of religions may seem right because they are all so similar. The central ethics of nearly every world religion is the belief that it is one's duty to help others, the golden rule.
If you are looking to choose one religion I suggest going to the library and getting several books on world religions, make sure that they are academic books, not books by one religion attempting to put down all the others. This is what I did and it's how I discovered Wicca, which is right for me. But perhaps through study you can find the one right for you.

I would say choose the faith which can most easily be nurtured by a community. It's easier and less lonely to follow a faith when you have yourself surrounded by many who share the same belief system.

It'll be a personal choice. Maybe the faith your parents brought you up in made/makes you uncomfortable and you don't feel led to "stand out" which makes a lot of people seek other less active faiths.

DON'T listen to what PEOPLE say about any religion especially if they are not from that religion ask the people that have STUDIED the religion you are asking about (scholars) and ask more than one person if there is contrast between what different scholars say about the same religion then it probably isn't the right religion
i hope this helps

There is only one truth and it isnt what you choose it is finding the truth. The Bible teach's that those that love the truth will seek and those that seek will find him. Those that seek the truth receive a gift of faith and through faith comes revelation and a personal relationship with God. My advice would be toseek God in his word and prayer and meditiation and develop a realtionship with him and he will lead you in the way you should go. May God Bless You. As a Christian who has a relationship with Christ My advice would be in knowing our need for him the Bible teach's that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord. God created man in his image and this image was body and spirit. God knew before creation that man had a sinful nature and would fall away but God remains rihgteous and also merciful it was his plan before the creation of the world to save his creation. Though we are sinful God loves us and he had a plan of savation for us that plan was to come to the world in the form of man and overcome temptation and rremain perfect and to offer his flesh to pay the penalty of death for us that we might through faith in the atonament and the resurrection become new creatures free to worship God in newness of life.

FORGET RELIGION
Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.
Christ is the tree of life.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
God's Word is not a religion but a reality.

no need to choose just one.
that's the problem with religion - they make you choose just one and you're evil if you are curious about another religion or convert.
take the best parts of all the religions you like, and make your own belief system.

Many things seem right to immature people, who refuse to use valid criteria to make evaluation. For him who learns to seek for the truth, he will find the right path for his spiritual journey to the nearness of the One True God.
