Whatever you think your date will like. I don't mean to make light of your question, but my wife and I still have romantic dinners almost 25 years into our marriage. It's not about the food, so much as it is the company :-)

Put a couple candles on the table, put out the plates and wine glasses (wine is optional...), serve anything you wish -- fish, stew, a roast, lobster, sandwiches -- and enjoy each other's company.

Have fun.

What is your favorite dish that you can cook the best? Whatever it is, then go with that dish. As long as you put it in a pot and cook it in an oven or stove you will be fine. Women like it when a man takes the time to cook for them. Men who have have some domestic skills turn a lot of women on.

Spaghetti with meatballs, a salad, garlic bread, and a red wine. Set up the table with a nice center piece, and 2 tapered candles, dim lights, and turn on some soft music...

Enjoy your dinner.
