i just permed my hair 3 weeks ago... but the outer layer of my hair is no longer wavy (i have fine hair) although some of the inner layers of my hair is still wavy... so i went to the hairstylist and asked for help. He asked me to perm again and said that the old waves will be replaced by the new waves... hmm.. im still a little worried that the result will not be satisfying... can you help me out??? i need some professional advice pleaseee!!!!

it should be okay to just do the straight part, in order to not damage the hair you should use some protein treatment on it like Redken Cat treatment, if your hair is colored or hilited on top of just getting a perm i would not recommend another one, the stylist also needs to use smaller rods where it was straighter or simply a different perm

don't over do it...there are other things u can do to get your hair looking like it has been permed...without actually perming it over and over...
u can get a touch up....that would be all u need cause of the small time limit ...

That'll be the equivalent of mixing two dyes together you'd get the wrong colour and it would probably cause ur hair to break .

I wouldn't do it. You might fry your hair. Go to another stylist and get a second opinion.
