Christ tells us our Bodies are our Temples.

In the Old Testament the Temple is where God actually let his presence be felt as a palpable thing. The Ark of the Covenant was hidden behind the curtain and only a few could ever feel the presence of God.

Christ changed that.

The self righteous were heaping up rules that not even they could obey and judging people based on those rules. Sound Familiar?

Christ released the people from the Mizvot AS JUDGED by the Religious Leaders.

Christ made it a sin to judge others and explained that those who judge shall be judged as they judge. If the Holy Spirit has you witness against someone it is one thing, if you make a judgment it is another. One is trusting in God and the other is trusting in yourself or other people. Christ said, "I judge not and if I do (seem to) judge it is God who judges in me."

Christ and Paul told us not to judge and that our bodies are Temples.

God can now reside in the Spiritual Temple of your body, if you ask God in and if you give everything up to God. Once God resides in you every thought is a prayer, a conversation with God. God does not take control of you, you must release control to God.

It is therefore literally impossible to give up praying for Lent.

Lent is a time for preparation. What are you preparing for?

As for giving up things for Lent. God doesnt want your M&M's. God wants you

If Lent lasted 365 days a year, I'd be all for it.

Of course I've heard of Lent, I just don't know what its about. If you want to give it up, just don't relent after.

No, that defeats the purpose. And since you don't celebrate Lent, why do you care.

Better to give up your old sins and then think about praying.

Only if you are sincere and were praying in the first place and not just nagging God to do stuff for you.
