If you want to do it that's half the battle won,the last time I gave up I went to the stop smoking clinic at the doctors, the nurse said it was ok to use whatever nicotine replacement products at the same time as long as it keeps you off the cigarettes. If one of the first things you do on a morning is put the kettle and and reach for the ciggies then I would use the inhaler or lozenges until the patch has got into your system. Good luck,I know how hard it can be!

Don't use all those aids together or you may end up putting too much nicotine into your body. Firstly really make sure you want to stop tomorrow not just because "I've made enough excuses"-if that's the reason set yourself another date and you will know when that date arrives that this is the day I'm an NON-smoker. Take plenty fruit-I found ornage juice a very good aid when I craved a cigarette-and eat plenty oranges and apples etc. rather than munch on sweets so as to help you not put on weight. I also found if I sucked fruit sweeties these made my mouth not dry up. If you do have a craving go and do something and you will forget you even wanted a cigarette at all-avoid smokers, if you can, for the first few days-the cravings will pass through time-I promise. Always keep busy. When you finally think you have overcome the worst, here's a good tip to help you keep stopped-tear down the wallpaper in your living room and redecorate-I know it sounds stupid, but wait 'till you smell it-it stinks and you will realise how smelly smoking was really making you. If you fail try again, keep trying-you will beat it. GOOD LUCK

I would not advise using all these,I gave up smoking 3 years ago but I only used the day patches, so many people had told me that they have dreams and nightmares when they had the 24 hr patch, and if you really think about it, you do not smoke when you are asleep.
It is not easy but since giving up I have decorated the house and it has not discoloured, also when I pass a person that smokes you can smell it, and believe me it smells evil.
Please do not think I am an old moaner, but even I did not know how much it smelt by others.
Please be patient with yourself and do not expect miracles, but you can do it, after all if I can give up after smoking 30 a day for a good many years I am sure you can do it.
Best of Luck

Today is my 32nd day smoke free. Every day take the money that you would of spent on smokes and put in a box, At the end of the week take that money and put in a bank, Reward yourself with little prizes or save it up for a long time and then take yourself on a cruise or something. When you have a craving do not give into it, Just wait it out, Get busy doing something else. It only takes a few minutes for a craving to go away.
Good Luck.

I quit ten years ago using the patch.I had smoked for 25 years smoking an average of 3 packs a day.I kept busy doing things i enjoyed doing.I loved smoking and if i could quit anyone can!!!You have to really want to quit to make it happen. I used the patch for three weeks then cold turkey after that.I would ask your doctor if you could use patch, inhaler, and lozengers together.I wish you the best of luck quitting!!!!!!

Don't use all those nictotine substitues at the same time. Just one. Patches are for 24-hour use. Lozenges about every hour or two. Using more than one , or smoking on top of the quit aids, could cause a heart attack.

If you have the will, you will have the power to overcome this..Good luck
