WOW! It's been around since 2003 and is still going strong. I got my mailbox filled with it back then and I found it in every forum that I belonged to. They forgot to add that people that doesn't have English as their first language or have some form of reading disability often have a much harder time understanding what is written.

Origins: This little bit of intriguing linguistic trivia stormed through inboxes in September 2003.
The Languagehat web site appears to have been the one to popularize it.

Wow that's really funny!! I was able to read it without any trouble and english is not my mother tongue, not even the foreign language i speak best. So i disagree with Nightstalker, i guess its only an optical thing.

yes I can read it. The human mind is very powerful. You acan even make your self well if you are sick using your mind. If you have a positive attitude all the time and don't dwell on your sickness you can make yourself better. There have even been people who have cured there self of terrminal cancer by having a positive attitude. I don't think we will ever fully understand how complex our brains really are.

Zeh Hebrit? LOL
Yo comprendo las palabras muy bien, pero yo no comprendo eso, porque yo no speaka da Englez....
I think that is an interesting phenomena but I believe that it would only apply to people who learned English as their 'mother tongue'.
It would be damn difficult to do if you learned English, even well, as a second language, IMO.

lol.... I recieved an email telling me this same thing a few months back.

I think it is quite amazing what our brains are capable of....

I must remember to use mine more often!

Shame people still want to bust your butt over spelling something wrong though.... and this proves that they know what it is... so why does it really matter to them eh??

(This is great... I don't have to check my spelling on this one!!)
