It would help if you told us what type of file you downloaded. Im guessing (as its most common) its a rar file.

So firstly you need winrar (www.winrar.com) then again, depends on what file is inside that rar file. If its an .ISO or .MDS/.MDF then you need a program like Deamon Tools (Do online search) to mount that image.

Next time can we get a little more info please.

To unpack a compressed file (Zip, RAR, 7ZIP, etc), install the trial version of WinRAR.

To then mount your uncomrpessed disc image(s), either just burn them straight to CD/DVD, or mount them on a virtual optical drive using DaemonTools.
