I would pay off the mortgages of all mine and my husbands families, buy his nans council house, my sisters council house and then look at starting my own property development business.
I would take a very long holiday to Thailand too, my dad lives there and I have never been out to see him.

I would offer my siblings a portion of the winnings, buy myself a nice detached (very important) bungalow with high walls or greenery (my ambition is to become a recluse), get another couple of kittens as Jet can't have that many more years left, he's nearly 14.
I'd buy myself an E flat bass, trombone, euphonium, baritone, tenor horn, bass recorder, guitat, violin, clarinet and flute. give work (a care home) and colleagues something and then give most of the rest away to charity.
I don't want a party, holiday, car, boat, big house or anything like that. I'd want no publicity but I would quite like to be known as the weird old cat woman by the local children.

First thing i'd do is buy a modest sized house with a art studio as I love painting nothing too big though, then i'd give a share to my parents and sister so they could all buy houses of their own, I'd take one nice holiday abroad and one in this country, i'd then buy a dog, get a chauffeur as I can't/don't drive, invest some money in a high interest account, donate some to my chosen charities, go on a shopping spree and I definately wouldn't continue to work as i'd be too busy taking up new hobbies etc to want to stress out over work, no way hoosay! Lifes to short to worry about work, if it was very large winnings I'd never need work again, I'd be able to live off the interest alone!

I would give some to my Brother and his wife. I would give some to my sister. I would give my mum and Dad some and give them a cheque to pay into my little brothers bank account until hes 18.
I would give some to my Mum and Dad In Law, and My Brother In Law and his Girlfriend and my other Brother In Law and his Fiancee, and also my other brother in law.
I would use the rest to buy a Car, to have my central heating sorted out, put some towards the mortgage and go on a 2 wk holiday.
I dont do the lottery so wont win but if I did do the lottery and won it this is what i would have spent the money on.

The first thing I would do is buy a house, I hate apartment living. Then I would go and buy a new car, then I would take my kids somewhere exciting like Disney World or something. I would make sure we had everything we needed, I would donate some money to a charity that protects and cares for animals.

First thing would be a new roof! Then a new bathroom. After that I'd save some, put some by for my children, share some with the rest of my family and Set up a centre for young people to come to in the evenings to do all kinds of activities inexpensively.
Finally, I'd give some to a Mind, a mental health charity, then to some elderly people who may not have much so they can at least afford to put their heating on!

Buy lots of land and have a house built for myself, my mum and my brother. Make sure my gran had everything she ever wanted - maybe even a nice hunky butler!
Then start my own business of some sort to keep me motivated in life!
Assuming it was a big win!

Pay all debts for myself, wife and family.
Buy a real nice house, but not huge.
Buy nice TV and everything you could ever want, car the lot.
Open up a hostel for homeless people, and organise a job application in the local super markets and such to get people them back on their feet and earning a living, and do that for each person for 1 year in a bid to get homeless people off the streets and back into the community.
I then take my results to the government and get public backing for several other such places to be opened up around the country.
Then I would work on building a profitable business in engineering.
Then I would retire at 54 live off my money, my pension and know I did some good with it,

If i won the lottery i would set up some form of a trust with 90% of it so that it would be there for several generations to assist family.
10% of the money would be used to start a charitible foundation to assist the homeless and elderly, educational assistance for the less fortunate and do it only in America for Americans, too much money is being wasted on people in third world countries.
I get really mad when i see people like oprah, and other hollywood personalities spending millions in africa when there are people right here in the United States that are just as in need as those third world people. American's need to take care of their own cause those people in third world countries could care less about americans, they only want what they can get out of us.

If I won the lottery I would build "Jazmine's Garden," a huge home for pregnant women i.e.: teens, single, and homeless women who needed a safe place to stay during their pregnancy. I would provide all the ladies who stayed there with the opportunity to earn their high school diploma through distance education or a GED. I would hire the kindest, most creative and compassionate people I could find.
At "Jazmin's Place" the food would be homemade and healthy. For the soon-to-be-moms who needed help in daily planning, organizational skills, consumer math, etc., I would hire an on-site teacher to show them how to handle life in a positive and effective
ways. Every waking minute of every day we would work on self-esteem, confidence, inner strength, and respect.
The moms would get expertise training in parenting and early childhood development. They would be given the opportunity to be not only the best mom a kid could want, but a strong, confident, loving and knowledgeable human being whose child, in turn, would have a greater chance at a successful future.
That's what I'd do if I won the lottery! Thanks for this question...it was a joyful experience answering it! Annie
