God gave people the free will to do whatever they please. God cannot "forbid" the Superbowl without turning mankind into slaves, which God obviously did not want.

God already made a law, Love the Lord thy God with all thy Heart.

If people choose to ignore that law they will receive their reward.

If people choose to force others into slavery they shall have their reward.

Abortion is a perfect example. Exodus 21:22 tells us that if a man causes a woman to abort a baby then the husband and the interpreters of the law decide the punishment. If something else in addition to the abortion happens then punishment is judged according to justice.

This is approximately the law we have in the United States right now where the interpreters of the law have decided the punishment, here on earth, for abortion is nothing. That does not mean God will not punish unrepentant abortion. Abortion is defined as a sin in the Bible.

It is the punishment here on Earth that is left open to the interpreters. God will decide the punishment in the next world.

God will also define the punishment for those who ignore his law, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all your heart even if there is no punishment in this world for that sin and those who attempt to force people into obeying what they interpret as "God's Law".

What Would Jesus Do? What did Jesus Do? Christ allowed people to choose to ignore God without punishment in this world.

Oh, just like how we should forbid religion? =) No, because that's not right, to take away the freedom of choice from people.

And when I say religion, I mean EVERY religion/belief/faith. Yes, that does include Christianity and every branch of it, as well as Islam, etc. So, no taking away a Super Bowl.

God forbids alot of things, just look at the teachings of Jesus Christ. The problem with people, is we want to do what we want to do, when we want to do it and that's wrong. We should being doing what the Good Lord tolds us to do and accept Jesus Christ as our Personal Savior. We would all be better off because of it!

Religion is not a priority anymore in our "western" world.
In the Islamic countries it is quite the opposite. Religion fanaticism is one of the strongest social forces.
We continue denigrating our own religion.
That's why they will prevail.
We stupid, they clever!

The touching of the skin of a dead pig makes one unclean, hence American Football is against God.
