The day we broke up he said to me " You are ambitious, down to earth, motivated, witty and loyal...you are TOO perfect". I have thought about this at length but cannot come up with a plausible answer as to WHY this would make someone break up with you. Also as a side note, after we broke up he called my number day in and day out for 2 months until I changed the number. The number was blocked but I knew it was him. For one, only a handful of people had my number and secondly he slipped up once and forgot to block it. Why do that? Why break up because someone treats you good then call back again once it's over... I'm stuck on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

He feels that he cannot live up to what you need...so he is inscure...and probably feels that you do not need him and that is a big thing for men..feeling needed...

This almost sounds like something to the same effect when a woman dumps a guy for being "too nice". There is two main thoughts as to why people dump others like this:

1) Lets them down easier. This is the best way they know how to reject and dump you.

2) They can't handle someone perfect for them or they are commitment phobes.

Sounds like an excuse. Most guys would love to have a woman like you

sorry, but what a lame excuse..almost as bad as the famous "It's not you....It's me" line.
You did great......sounds like you might be perfect.......he's running to the airport to get on your level.

"You're too perfect" means "You're perfect for someone else, but not me".
Yeah....I've been there. Heard that.
