no, you do not need a visa if you are going there as a tourist and will be there for less than 3 months. malaysians are exempted from applying for visa from a lot of countries because we are under the commonwealth countries. but there are commonwealth countries like canada who required a visa after 9/11.

Absolutely yes!!! I'm come from Indonesia and you know,only if we want to go to the ASEAN to ASEAN country,we doesn't need a VISA. So because New Zealand is the un-ASEAN country,we must need VISA to entered there or if you don't have a VISA you will be deportated.
