somebody on yahoo answers called me that..and i didn't take it too nicely....could there be another meaning to what i had initially thought that person meant...please help out...!!!

am 18 years old..so it wouldn't be illegal if the guy slept with me...i had posted an answer about "dressing up for nookie"and just cause i mentioned that i could call the guy "daddy" if he wanted me to...some guy posts an answer under me saying that am "jail bait"

If you are under 16, and acting like you are older, dressing sexy, flirting, that's jail bait. Because anyone who slept with you would be prosecuted for statutory rape (which is sex with a minor under 16 yrs old), which is illegal and can certainly carry a jail sentence.
Don't be so keen to throw your childhood away, and think that you need to grow up so fast - believe me, you'll be an adult for much longer than you get to be a kid!

it means your too young, for example in most country's you must be of a certain age - say 16 to have a relationship with a older person so if your 15 and a 20 year old is having a relationship with you, he/she can go to jail for dealing with a minor, hence the term jail bait.

Jail Bait usually refers to someone thats underage and is chasing after older fellas. Think at 18 you're a bit past that so dont mind whoever said it

it means that you are sexualy attractive but are under legal age, and so anyone dating you could end up in jail.
that is the uk normal meaning of the term.

and if you are over 18 consider it a compliment (it means you look younger than your years).
it is not meant as an insult it is just a general comment on how someone sees you and in all honesty it says more about the person making the remark than it does about you. it means all they are thinking about is sex.
