Terrorism often takes root in ignorance, fanatic doctrines and extreme poverty. Education and improving living conditions in third world countries might help in solving internal conflicts in many countries; microcredits, invented by Muhammad Yunus, may help many extremely poor people in the world (more than half the Earth's poulation lives with less than 2 dollars per day) and thus, may help them to rely on themselves and escape from being children soldiers, suicide bombers; for fanaticism resides in many cases in dispair caused by poverty or ignorance by the lack of eduaction other than religious. As a result, improving massively third world countries'living conditions with equitable trade and microcredits, education and close and fruitful dialogues may be the solutions.
P.S. To eradicate terrorism in any forms (governmental, groupes, etc...) we must define first our interests without forgetting morality. Money and war industry will not stop terrorism, but dialogue, exchanges, fair trade, respect and peace will do it.

The first and most important work to be done is to make powerfull United Nations . No other power should dominate the whole some Body - The United Nations. There should not be any other superpower like country in the world. All the Arms and Ammunitions of destructions should be destroyed to become fearless. Every human Being should live fearlessly and enjoy his life. Human Society should concentrate to improve it's living standard and not in destruction activities.

Terrorists are like mosquitos--they need a place to breed. The breeding grounds for terrorism (other than the occasional nut--which is a police matter, nothing mre) are regions whhere people lose hope due to poverty or oppression. When fanatics seeking power mive in ith false promises, people in that ccondition are vulnerable to the rhetoric of the fanatics.
So--eliminating terrorists means eliminating the social swamps that make their existance possible. You do not find terrorists setting themselves up among populations who have a measure of hope, prosperity, and freedom. And that cannot be done with military force. In a given instance, force may be needed to dislogdge a specific group--but that is not and cannot be anything more than the lancing of a boil. If you don't address the condiitons tha tgive rise to terrorism--poverty, fear, and desperation--you accomplish nothing--as we are now seeing graphically proven in Afghanistan and Lebanon.
The details vary from place to place--but the basic elements are: invest in the people of the region--with economic development and infrastructure that helps them. That means investment that is focused on the ordinary person--not luxury hotels and fast-food franchises in beirut.
And it means supporting the development of a stable, reasonably open government--not imposing a proxy regime that the people do not support-we are seeing the consequences o fthat in Iraq.
And it means working WITH other nations, not trying to bully them into acceding to complying with our notions of how "things ought to be."
In short--it means America returning to being what we are best at--a nation a people who lead by example--not a conquerer imposing our will by force of arms. If you really want to get rid of terrorism, or "spread democracy" that is how you do it--and it is the ONLY way to do it.

Free Iraq of extremist militants. Give every Iraqi citizen an oil revenue check. Rebuild the country. The Iranian extremist government would feel the pressure amongst it's own people to reform. Syria would have to accept or deal with sanctions from the world and not be able to take part in trade with the robust economy of Iraq.Al-Quaeda, Hezbollah, and Hammas would lose funding thus reducing the river of monies flowing to them from Iran and Syria to a trickle.

I went to college with a fellow who with his sister was on the second airplane hijacked
He lived down the hall in the dorm and was a history major.
He said that what was done then was wrong, that at that time a line should have been drawn and surrender demaned unconditionally. He said that he thought that they had a good chance they would have still lived, but negociationg a deal was wrong and would encourage more acts of terror.
He was absolutely right!
There is/should be, no dealing with terriorists, they surrender or are killed. this is the only hope to stop terrorism.

You can never win over or solve violence with violence. If we stop interfering in everyone else's affairs , this would be a good start.I also feel that everyone in the world needs to study all of the religions because all of them, teach love and not war. All men of the earth have a terrorist within. No one is better than anyone else.To eradicate terrorism would mean this would be heaven. But alas, now we are very close to being and creating a hell on earth.

One should not forgot that for every action there is some re-action. The question is that how to eradicate terrorism. Here I would like to say that prevention is better than cure. The present day social & political atmosphere is the mother of all evils. My answer is only that love thy neighbour.

We should love human-beings of the world as brothers, sisters and friend so it will eradicate terrorism.
hatred brings a form of terror. No we as human being should not hate another human -being. We should only love human-beings.
that is the best way to eradicate terrorism of world.
Mother , father , brother, sister, anty, uncle, girl friend , boyfriend, grand father , grand mother, husband, wife, enemy, friend, christian, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Jain, Sikh, IUD , we all are human -being first and then all this adjectives.
So start loving yourself first and try to love others then only this problem can be removed.
With Love and Good wishes

Well regarding your question , and it’s solution it’s easier said the done, first of al we have to look in to the form of conflicts, in today’s world, it’s mainly religious conflicts resulting in the face of Islamic terrorism in particular, next is class conflicts, resulting in Naxalism threat, another one is ethnic conflict, Ulfa and Ltte are best example of that.
Now the question arises how does these conflicts born, we have to go some downwards in the history of Mankind, we would find numerous examples of existence of these conflicts , and it’s need less to elaborate them, only the form of resistance has changed from time to time, you will also find some of the behind reason for this conflicts, such as Oil in case of Islamic terrorism(Read Religious), under development of the particular area such as jafna and Assam(read Ethnic), also jobless population without basic facilities in nepal,Bihar, andhra resulting in rise of Naxal terror(read Class conflicts).
So my dear freind, the simple to write ,yet most difficult answer for your question is to address all the behind reasons as mentioned above on priority basis by:-
A- Develop alternate and Envoirment friendly energy resources, to cut down the Humankind dependence on oil.
B;Development in such a way that it’s fruit reaches at the end level of mankind by creating jobs first of all ,connectivity such as roads, railway , industrialization etc.
C;-the dharamgurus of each religion come out and sit out and find out the unique and common things among all religion teachings , and avoid competition among all religion.
D:-To find out the Gandhi an way of resolvance of conflicts among communities, class, countries.
Well still again I’m saying that it’s easier said then done, but somewhere , some start has to be done.
