Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

Why does God hate people who need glasses? Didn't 'he' allegedly make them that way?

Great Blistering Barnacles,it does not refer to vision as such but means that if you have sin this blinds the purity of the offering and it is better that you do not approach the holy altar,in this condition.

Well, if you are not a Priest, your sight issues do not matter, if you were a priest, I am sure they would have some kind of vision test.. I am also sure that your vision would not be the primary thing you would need to be concerned about anyway when it came to temple sacrifices, were you a priest..
