Whistleblower,,,,,don't bother. I had the same problem and after several different attempts to remedy it I ended up throwing the towel in and going onto SKYPE instead.

What I would do is completely un-install it (by going into your controll panel, and into add/remove programs) and start over. That should do the trick! :)
