In most larger cities the police officers have a favorite local hangout. Atleast they do in 3 of my states largest cities. You might want to ask around and see if they have one of those in your city.
Other ways might be the next time you see a female officer, you might want to strike up a conversation just like you would with any other female.
I've chatted with a few online from time to time, one happened to live just a couple of blocks from me, and i'd seen her out and about in her cruiser on patrol numerous times but never had a clue she was the same person until i gave her my address and she dropped by one afternoon while on patrol.
I tell ya she is one very fine looking lady.
One more place you might check is the local fitness center, sometimes the cops hang out there for their workout sessions.

What a tragedy. My heart goes out to that officer's family and loved ones. A full investigation must be conducted as to the training that this officer received, and what level of physical fitness competency she was required to attain prior to being accepted to the academy. The story hints that officers are so desperately needed in New Orleans, that there may have been some relaxing of the requirements and/or training. Oh, and I hope that waste of flesh is executed with all due haste.

Try visiting the chip shop at 11pm on a Friday night, lots of police officers in there, don't try and park on double yellow lines on your way in though because you'll find that they've already done it!!!

Break the Law, One will suely come arrest you then you can ask her for her number or alternately go to a police station or a donut shop.
