...which I believe is run by Match.com. If so, how did you find it? I tried Dating Direct a few years ago and had a few bad experiences (most were like little boys in a sweet shop and I swear for many it was just a "hobby" and an ego boost!) Was just wondering how successful Match.com is?

I was on Dating Direct for about a year, got nothing. Signed up to Yahoo personals (a friend referred me) and wa-hey had several contacts pretty quickly, met one girl and we've been together for two years. I'm not sure if it was match.com back then but it sure worked well enough.

Good luck

I have tried probably every dating site there is and never met anyone vaguely decent. Match.com have their 6 month promise that you will meet someone - I wonder what the terms are? That you have to accept some minger in your life? I used Gumtree dating and met my man on there but that was a two years ago (sadly now nobody is really genuine on there). Don't waste your money - use introductory offers only and maybe also speed-dating.

Match.com worked for me, over a year now!! Be careful, insist on a checkable background before meeting, and don't give out too much info about yourself. There are a few of us good men out there still, good luck!

Nope sorry but every time I log in it is advertised on the Yahoo home page so can't see why it wouldn't be on yours

Just go back to the home page and check

Match com and Dating Direct were two seperate agencies before they merged together, I would drop them a line and they would reply back saying thanks but we're not right for each other, when I had only seen their photo, I hadn't met them yet.
