As poodles are allergy-free. Does anyone know where she can find a 'stud' for her *****, whose owner wouldn't charge too much, as the pups would be going to needy homes?

To all you self-righteous anti-breewding people out there - GROW UP!!!
I had terrible asthma as a kid and was desperate for a dog. Eventually my mum found out about poodles and I had one for 17 years. It brought great quality to my life and that is what my sister wants to do!
All this garbage you lot spout about there being too many dogs out there may be true, but there are NOT ENOUGH dogs for asthmatics - especially ones given out free from the goodness of someone's hearts.
You lot are absultely OATHETIC - I bet none of you ever do something nice for someone else!!

If you check the KC website, they will tell you where there are breeders local to you.
Good luck to your sister - My brother has asthma, so as a kid we really wanted a dog, and couldnt have one - till mum found out about poodles. We grew up with a beautiful standard poodle - she was the best dog ever - so placid.
What a lovely thing for your sister to do.!!!

It's great that you did this. I'm not so sure if it is actual names that we are called, more so concepts and ideas. For example, Priests are called pedophiles, we worship Mary and the Pope, we are not Christians, we're cannibals, we pray to saints, cultists, satanists, and of course, the whore of Babylon. These rude, arrogant and childish remarks will get them no where- so I fail to see the point for why people call us these names. Even after answer after answer stating that we do not worship Mary, they still go on stating that we do, like they have some divine reason to believe that. They are just misinformed- and it is with the help of us Catholics to set these questions straight. Ever notice when a Protestant asks a question about the Catholic church, many Catholics answer thorough and detailed answers, the right answer- but the Protestant still picks another Protestant answer as the best answer? I think it is basic insecurities. We all know that none of these names or claims are true, and I believe that seeking the right answers from fellow Catholics here in R&S will only make us stronger. Protestants are missing so much- they are not only missing the actual Body and Blood of Christ, they are missing so much more, God's true presence. Ignore the attacks, because it is just blatant lies.

I'm willing to bet there are poodles being put to death today because there aren't enough homes. I think you're heart is in the right place but you're a little misguided. Why not try to locate poodles and poodle/crosses from shelters and try to rehome them?
You are reacting angrily to the many posts which tell you to spay because this isn't the answer you wanted to hear. It's what you need to hear.
It's a fact that there are too many dogs in this world. You cannot dispute that. It's also apparent that you aren't educated in the science of breeding. Do your dog a favour and spay her. Leave the breeding to the experts.

Has your sisters female received her CGC or equivalent? Has she been tested for genetic issues or breed specific problems?
How is the female's temperment with children?
The male should be health tests also.
Just producing a particular breed that is supposedly "hypo-allergenic" isn't the answer. If she is seriously considering this, she needs to produce healthy long lived lines. Not puppies that could have a long line of cancer running in their pedigree and some child will have to have their dog put down at 2 yrs old.
There is ALOT to consider and keep in mind!!!

Look up the kennel Club Website, they have list of stud dogs and im sure there will be an owner who will understand the situation and give you a discounted fee. Did you ever think of breed it with a labrador. This produces a dog that has the brains of a labrador but is allergy free like a poodle. They are becoming increasingly popular as guide dogs.

Kind thoughts I am sure and good intentions
What size is the poodle - standard, miniature or toy? The standard is so different in temperament to the little ones. So much more laid back.
When you sister gives the dogs away, will she also subsidise the cost of grooming and clipping?
The labs are bred to poodles for guide dogs for size, build and strength. Poodles are very intelligent in their own right and also by breeding them with labs it can cut down on coat maintenance.

I am sure you have the best intentions in wanting to do this but I must say that it isnt a good enough reason to breed a dog. Breeding is supposed to be for betterment of the breed not to produce puppies...

You should try www.epupz.co.uk as they have dogs for sale but also ads for people who offer their dogs for stud. They can charge up to £200 but your sister could try ringing and explaining what she is doing and maybe she can get them to lower their stud fee.
She is doing a good thing here being asthmatic myself I know these kids and their parents will be grateful for what she is doing because not a lot of people would do this. I Hope it works out for her.

there is no dog that is allergy free. the Chinese Crested might be. so breeding for this purposes is not right. Allergies are from the dander off the dog. and all dogs have danderff.

Take a look around the internet, there are MANY dogs available for adoption that would be great for kids with asthma. Please tell your sister there is no shortage and not to add to the problem.
