My fiancee seems to think that there's no harm done in flirting, i on the other hand believe it's in the same sort of category as cheating. We're both going out on our own this weekend and i'm concerned that out of petty revenge i might get drunk and cheat on her if i suspect that she's out flirting. So... Is flirting right or wrong?

Its not cheating. But I know where you're coming from. She certainly shouldn't do it in front of you, but you can't be with her all the time, and people do flirt without there being anything behind it, all the time.

Jealousy is a terrible and destructive force, but in the end most of the time its an over-reaction.

Are you just looking for a self-justification for cheating on her? If you want it that bad, and think her flirting is a good enough excuse, you don't love her and should end it anyway.

You should talk to her about it, but its very difficult to do so without both of you getting emotional and angry, so try and be reasonable and genuinely understand her side. Its not something I ever managed but its better than letting it fester.

Good luck,

first of all your a jerk you dont cheat to get even. people cheat cause there scum

let me ask you something. when was the last time you were at the gas station... or in a store and were like damn shes hot.... admit it cause if you dont your a liar... theres nothing wrong with looking and flirting it makes a person feel good

as long as you know shes comming home to you and she wont do anything with someone else then chill the frig out!! ever heard of you can look but not touch its all the same

but if this is your fiancee and your just now going out with out each other this relationship may not go down the isle but rather down the drain because aparently you dont trust her!!!!!!!!!!

best of luck though i hope if you cheat its the best sex u ever have cause your girl friend will find out... chicks always do

theres no harm in flirting as long as you don't act on it, it's more a way of being friendly than actually looking for a way to cheat on someone. you should trust your fiancee that if she flirts she's not going to act on it. then again you should probably tell her it makes you uncomfortable. and your petty revenge as you call it would hurt her a lot more than her flirting should hurt you

it is of course wrong...this statement says it all. do i still have to elaborate it?look, when you really love someone, you don't care if the most handsome/beautiful person your eyes have ever seen is standing right in front of you--simply because you know for yourself who makes your heart beat faster and slower at the same time.it's wrong to say that there's nothing wrong about flirting with somebody else when you already have a partner, plain respect.you don't know that there are a lot who love him/her so dearly...and having his/heart makes you lucky enough. when you want to cheat, you don't deserve to be loved. because you don't even know what that 4-letter word means. if you want to be with somebody else even for an instance set the other one free first. because when you truly love someone, no other thing can make you happy besides having him/her right close to you...

It is wrong and if you fiance thinks it is right she will continue even in marriage so think about it do you want a marriage partner that is a flirt.Always seeing your wife with other men flirting will definately hurt you.

i'm a especially qualified interior sight talking instructor of English. i might continually forget approximately 'spell checker' because it incredibly is in keeping with american English and not generally used English spelling and grammar. Use despite version of English you're maximum mushy with, yet be consistent and don't swop approximately in the same piece of writing. that's what i propose my scholars to do. To Dorothy - particular, it does count!

no, as long as the other person you are actually flirting with knows thats it is just flirting because there is no need to start messing about with other peoples emotions.

It is only cheating when there are emotions...

Look at it that way and start flirting with other girls and see what she does... :D

IT'S A FINE LINE AND A TOUCHY SUBJECT BUT IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT CHEAT ON HER JUST BECAUSE YOU THINK SHE'S FLIRTING TELLS ME THAT YOU SHOULDN'T BE WITH HER, COME ON NOW WAKE UP SWEETIE.
