It sounds like an infection. Go to your chemist and show them, you can get over the counter creams for this.

ive just had this!!!!! still a bit red, but a lot better now. I thought it was a stye or conjunctivitis, but i went to the docs cos it was so bad, and was diagnosed as having cellulitis of the eyelid. Sounds strange, but it is a real condition, and apparently could be quite dangerous as the inflammation could spread to the brain!!! its very unusual, but it can happen. I would get off to the docs straight away, as he put me on 1000mg antibiotics and eye drops. Better to be safe rather than sorry ...good luck

You may have an ingrowing eye-lash
This can be simply rectified so do not ignore it
(The scratching prickly feeling, could be damaging the eye itself )
your eyes are precious, don't ignore this discomfort .
Go and see your doctor, for advice and treatment .

Sounds like an infection. Wash your eyes with warm salty (not too much salt) water. If it doesn't feel better in a couple of days...Go see the Doctor.

Ask the record. for genuine hypersensitive reaction drops. over the counter drops only artwork as long because of the fact the moisture is on your eye. they are able to genuinely make it worse and you ought to use them continuously to be soft. Rx hypersensitive reaction drops many times only might desire to be utilized once or twice an afternoon, and that they artwork!

you may still have a stye, but it sounds like it may have turned into an eyelid infection. You should get that looked at now and start the antibiotics immediately.

Sometimes these things come and go, sometimes they are more serious, if you're not sure, go to a doc, but eye wash can work wonders.
