How exciting for you :)

Now yes that is totally natural to see that kind of discharge. It means that the puppies are working their way down or out lol
You will see a bit of this discharge and then will see a sack which is what the puppy will be surrounded in. Now normally your dog will lick it and break open this sack by itself. Depending, if she doesnt you may need to put some gloves on and do this yourself, by tearing ONLY with your fingers. Once the sack is broken put it back near mum again and fingers crossed she will lick it and clear its airways. Some females dont have the motherly instinct, so if she doesnt, you will need to just take the pup in a towel and wipe its nose and mouth, hold it firmy in the towel but dont squeeze, and just bending over slighty tilting the puppy upside down, will free the goo thats in its mouth or nose and this is also used to get a puppy breathing right.

Just keep an eye out on all the pups that are born with this info, and you will be a proud owner of pups :)

Good Luck !

How did it all go???? Hopefully all healthy puppies for you :)

Make sure you have clean hands, and you can help the puppy's come out of mommy by gently pulling after the head comes out, you want to get wash cloths, and rub the puppy's for about 5 minutes as soon as you can get them to hold them, rub them, There lungs need this, so put them between the palms of you hands and rub back and forth, not hard, but get them lungs to breath and inflate.
Mom will do the rest.
