I know it's the rainy season - but are we talking a steady torrential downpour all day long, a short period of rain each day, or what?

Thanks

I was in Vietnam and Cambodia August 06 for 3 weeks. It rained twice, once some light drizzle at night, one afternoon was solid rain. Having said that, a few weeks later a monsoon hit Vietnam to Hoi An and Hanoi where we'd just left and left homes flooded. It's a bit hit and miss it seems.

Depends just be prepared i was stuck in a typhoon and flooding in July that was in the Phil, but it will rain steady sometimes light all day rain and sometimes it will just pour down. Then some days it wont rain its pretty unpredictable but mostly steady light rain. At least it wont be that hot!

depends on where you go. if you're down south expect a lot of rain. if your up north or in the mountains, much less
it's kind of like asking what's the weather in boston and miami or st louis and washington, dc.
our province SE of saigon is very wet. some days you think you should build an ark, sometimes not, sometimes it's sunny.
