IRs between white men and black females have become increasingly common, although not like that of white females and black males. A friend of mine is engaged to a black female and he always talks about how he dislikes white females. That kind of hurt, but anyway. I began to notice a trend where WM who were involved with BW always seemed to specifically seek black women, rather then being the type that would come across a black female by "chance". Yet when it comes to a white male and lets say a latina, they always say they were attracted to them, but they didn't specifically seek them out. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, the white men who date black women I find to normally be very attractive on both ends, but it always seems that when you do have a white guy/black female couple, the guy is always "black female possessed" instead of "female possessed". Thoughts?

Aside from the fact that most of today's white women are dating black guys...White men (that I know) say they only date black women because they are attracted to the strong and independant personalities. Traits that have been drilled into us since the day we were born, my mother always told me I had to do great. Because I was born with two strike against me...I'm black and I'm a woman...I always had to get A's in school...I had to go to college...I had to be a virgin until I got married, so I don't become another black girl with a baby on welfare and no husband...The white guys that I know that only date black girls do it because they like the personality of a black girl...having a big booty helps too...but whatever...

I haven't dated a black man in years, even though they flirt with me just about every single day. I'm just not attracted to the average black man. My daughter's father is white, and ever since we broke up I continued to date white men. I think interracial relationships are fine as long as it's not because you hate your own race. I love my race, but I also prefer white men. Don't ask me why....I just do.

If most white men dated black women there would be a lot more brown people out there than there is now. Maybe some of the reason that in your area that white men prefer black women is simply because of the woman's attitude toward him and not the color of her skin.

Well Where I live the stats are different. It's FAT white chicks with loser black guys. My observance of my neighborhood is not the norm. MOST fat white chicks do not EXCLUSIVELY date looser black guys.
Maybe these white men that you speak of, are unable to find a white equivalent of what they're looking for in a woman. Probably they are getting what they want out of these Afro-women and with out a care in the world, they're going for it. Send some of those black female possessed men over here. Please! its somewhat like opposite attracts ... If u check generally males r more attracted towards color other than their own skin ... as u mentioned WM attracts towards BW, same u find BM attracts towards WW.
