Ideally just get the Gatwick Express train to Victoria station. From there take the tube train to Russell Square. If you have alot of luggage i would just take a taxi from Victoria station. It will be worth the extra money! Check out http://www.londonvacationguide.com as a valuable resource in helping you.

Catch the Gatwick Express (overground train) to Victoria mainline station in London. Then take the Tube (London Underground). Go one stop on the Victoria Line northbound to Green Park; change onto the Piccadilly Line and go five stops northbound to Russell Square. If you have a lot of heavy luggage the Tube will be difficult to negotiate and it might be worth taking a taxi from Victoria. The rank is clearly marked, right outside the mainline station. Hope that helps!

Yes. Get the Gatwick express (train) from the airport to Victoria Station. Then take the tube to Russell Sq. You will need to catch the victoria line to Green park and then catch the piccadilly line to Russell Sq. station (both northbound)

You could take a taxi from Victoria station, but it would be more expensive. Also you could take a taxi from Gatwick airport but that would be REALLY expensive!

Try the gatwick express to London Victoria train station and a taxi from there, the Gatwick express comes once every quarter of an hour roughly and you can buy your ticket on board

don't take a cab all that way it will cost alot of money and is unnecessary - there is an overground train from Gatwick that takes you to London - ViICTORIA or LIVERPOOL ST both of these stations also have the underground tube which you then take to your hotel you can take bags on the tubes - its not difficult - just find the nearest tube station to your hotel - I think it might be Russell sq (but check)

Get on the Train to London Victoria.

Russell Square tube is on the Picadilly line, so take the Victoria line one stop north to Green Park and change there for the Picadilly line straight to Russell Sq.

Alternatively, hop on a No. 73 bus at Victoria and get off at Goodge Street. It's a short walk from there.

Ideally get in my taxi! A more economical solution is to get a taxi or tube to Victoria Station and then get the gatwick express train to Gatwick. Russell Square tube is just round the corner in Bernard St.

The answers above about rail and tube are excellent. But forget taxis unless you're a multimillionaire - they will clean you out, mainly because (1) their charges are a ripoff in the first place, (2) London traffic moves at snails pace and taxi meters are ticking all the time you're standing still in traffic. Public transport is also a rip off but not so much!
