- If you look for some cheap cloths, go to "Platinum" - the shopping complex with very very cheap cloths which sell in lots
- The very best place to buy the cheap electronics for Thai people is "Pantip" which is located near platinum.
- The new luxuary shopping center which is located in center of Bangkok - "Siam Paragon". You can find everything here with affordable price or some brand with unreasonable price.
- "Siam square" - opposited to Siam paragon. The center for Thai teenageer. You can find teenager cloths here.
- The night Market at Suan Lumpini
- Weekend Market at Jatujak
- The huge Central world Plaza

I'm a shopaholic...and I was in Bangkok for 3 days, and by the end of the 3rd day, I was all shopped out. So I'd say 3-4 days is enough. If you want anything custom-made, I suggest adding another day to factor in time for the fittings (you should have at least 2).

Honestly, I think 2-3 days should be enough. I've been to Bangkok and not everything is cheap! Some things can be quite expensive. Visit Hong Kong if you have a chance. You'll need max. number of days you can stay for Hong Kong though.

Can be quite long, if you can stand it. There are shops and malls in Bangkok, and factory outlets outside Bangkok. A week may be about right, or more if you travel at lesurely pace.

How many days do you have and how much shopping do you want to do?
Three to four days is usually enough but there other things to do in the city than tramp around shopping centres all day. They all look the same anyway.
