Corruption can never be ended like Greed! It sucks and sustain economy both. Only thing can be done is to ensure that inspite of taking bribes the work is done and is done efficiently with good material, no matter if the price is little more due to cut money.

Education and send all Republicans and Democrats that supported the Iraq Invasion. It began with lies and the Republicans know it. Vice President Cheney IS a Legal Thief and is still a majority stock holder at Halliburton. Halliburton had WON a NO BID CONTRACTS,so why doesn't Generalismo / White-Washed Alberto R Gonzales oops I meant US Attorney's General go after him with ethic charges. I forgot he that Bush and Cheney are his masters. Alberto R Gonzales needs to be fired just as Donald H Rumsfeld. Rumsfeld IS more professional than Gonzales ALWAYS.

Tougher rules on lobying, longer periods before elected officials could be hired by anyone, etc.
For corruption to really end we would need to look past the diversion created by politions in the name of liberalism and conservatism and petition, march, and organize a movement to end it. And make the politician accountable when they don't vote in favor of such a bill.

I doubt if it can be ended, but it can certainly be punished and limits can help reduce its effects.

As long as people are involved in a process there is likely to be corruption to some extent.
