Vitamin C tablets may help. A health food shop may also be able to tell you about tonics or tablets to boost your general immune system, i think things like echinceia are good for that. Slippery Elm Bark makes a porridge type drink, which helps stomach pains, and babies can take it too. God i'm sounding such a hippy! But it does work, and the great thing about most natural remedies is that you can often use them on children with no harmful effects (although obviously you need to check with tthe store!).

I'd recommend that you paint a large red cross on your door to ward off the plague and biuld a mini bomb shelter in your living room. Stay there until 21st of July, when the seventh Harry Potter book comes out, then al the diseases in the world will be cured and miracles will rain from heaven on a daily basis.
Or so some people think.
Alternatively, read my book 'Nurse Nancy's Magical Cures for Miserable Boo-Boo's' avaliable at £12.99 from Loadacrap Publishing, in particular the chapter entitled 'Been ill since Christmas, any advice PLEASE?????? Me, my husband and our 11 month old baby have all been ill since Christmas. We've had colds, coughs, ear infections, tummy bugs, sinus problems etc. I have got another cold now and I have ear ache again. I have aired the house several times, changed bed sheets often, used Dettol discenfectant spray, stayed away from people who I know are poorly. Any other advice as we are now at the end of our tethers???!!!'

Your immune systems could definitely use a boost. Winter months tend to make it easier to get sick and harder to get well. We're indoors more and our indoor air can be more toxic and poluted than our outdoor air. There are several things that can be lurking in your home that's contributing to your illness. Check out the following two sites and see if they help:
http://www.epa.gov/kidshometour
http://www.saferforyourhome.com
Also you should look into taking some extra immune boosting vitamins. Vitamins C, E, Folic Acid, Selenium, and zinc are great immune boosters. As well as echinachea, astragalus, and arabinogalactan.
If you're too sick to leave the house, I know of a great on-line store where you can purchase these products. Just ask. I hope your family feels better soon :o)

Its just that time of year........
Plenty of vitamin c and fluids (especially water) should help keep any further spells of illness at bay.
I would also like to mention that if you always disinfect everything in your household, this can lead you to be more susceptible to infections. Your immune system is created by coming into contact with certain bugs then your body making antibodies. If you always avoid contact with these bugs, your immune system does not always have a good enough response to fight it off properly or prevent anything you pick up developing. My advice to you is not to sterilise everything, just the things you are supposed to for your child. Keep all your surfaces clean and dry. There is no need to sterilise everything.................just think, in the olden days they didn't have all these sterilising fluids and they survived and their children etc etc.

Sounds like you need to boost your immune system.
Of the five immunity-boosting foods, beef may be the most surprising, considering health experts recommend limiting our red meat intake. But moderation is still key. Eat very lean beef.
Are you getting enough Zinc in your diet???
Zinc deficiency can greatly increase your risk of infection. Zinc helps develop white blood cells, the cells that we really need those to fight off foreign bacteria and viruses.
Vegetarians and those who do not eat red meat can look for their zinc supply in poultry, pork, fortified cereals, yogurt and milk. If you like oysters, they are also a fantastic source of zinc!
You should also be eating orange vegetables daily, especially this time of year. Sweet potatoes, or any of the orange vegetables, are a great way to add vitamin A to our diets. The reason? Vitamin A is important for your skin, which is the first line of defense for the immune systems.
Think orange, foods like sweet potatoes, and also carrots, squash, pumpkin. These are all great, especially because they are all in season this time of year. They all are great sources of beta-carotene, which the body quickly turns into vitamin A."
Although many of us eat carrots, it is often two or three days between servings, so eat them more regularly.
Mushrooms are another high-immunity food.Mushrooms help in the production of white blood cells in the body.recent studies have also found that they may make white blood cells act more aggressively against foreign bacteria.
The very best kinds of mushrooms are shiitake and maitake, which are available in most supermarkets.
In addition, we English may know something about fighting off a cold. A cup of black or green tea a day to muscle up our immune systems.Tea is a great source of polyphenols. Polyphenols clean up free radicals, damaging compounds that can hurt your DNA and accelerate aging.
Antioxidants take care of the free radicals, and tea has more antioxidants per part than fruits and vegetables.
Yogurt, another immunity-boosting food, is especially important to eat, particularly after you have been prescribed antibiotics. Brands that contain active cultures are a good source of healthy bacteria for your stomach.
When we take antibiotics they destroy most of the bacteria in our body. The problem is that there are some beneficial bacteria that the antibiotics take care of as well. We need these, especially those found in our intestines, to help us break down foods.
The lack of those bacteria can make us vulnerable to germs that cause diarrhea, for instance.
Eat plenty of fresh fruit,or drink pure fruit juices. (not concentrate)
Why not put yourself and your husband on some Multivitimin and Mineral tablets.

Sorry to hear you have all been ill!
Maybe it could be the change in weather climate! It has been very mild and cold so the bugs aren't being killed off so much! Or maybe you as a family are just unlucky to have got so many ailment's!
As a family with three children myself this time last year we all were suffering with all the ailment's you are suffering with, you will get over it so just hang in there!

in case you look on the latest NASA numbers and rather be attentive to what they advise, 2010 is the third favorite on record, no longer the 1st. Dire predictions that 2010 grew to become into going to be the favorite on record spurred on each and every style of statements making use of incomplete records gadgets. You adult adult males only haven't any credibility. BTW that may no longer actual approximately NC. We had a white christmas in 1967, 1993 2009. and dustings of snow some years. It fairly snows lots in the mountains of NC. EDIT- the two polar ice caps grew severely this previous year.

Preventative medicine is the best medicine. I would highly suggest taking Bikram's Beginning yoga class. There are a number of postures in his series that compress the Thyroid gland, boosting the immune system. Proper nutrition and adequate sleep is also important. Though, your baby won't be able to do yoga, if you and your husband stay healthy, chances are your baby will be too. Hope you find this helpful.

It's the season for colds, coughs & bugs. I've had a cold since New Year. You should get yourselves flu jabs & stock up on Vitamin C, or a multivitamin.
