Paula is neither a lush or a druggie if you are referring to illegal drugs. She is however someone that must take a lot of prescription drugs and may be addicted to pain killers stemming from a major accident where she was lucky to escape with her life. The accident killed nearly everyone in the tour bus which she still feels very guilty about. It is hard to be the survivor when so many of your close friends and co-workers are killed. She herself was paralyzed and had to undergo many surgeries and years of rehabilitation. She has not nor will she ever completely recover which is not uncommon for anyone that has been in a major accident like this. I feel really bad for her knowing how people are accusing her of being messed up chemically for something which she has a medical reason for using.
this also means every child with adhd is a druggie along with every cancer patient,burn victim, and nearly every person over the age of 50.

Paula Abdul is most definitely on something and I don't believe it's alcohol. That interview was soooo a person high on pills... When they are giving out statements such as a problem with the set or a fluke, gimme a break. Do they really believe we're that stupid? Paula, girl, you need help. You may be denying it to yourself, but trust me, it's quite obvious to everyone else that you are sailing high on your own cocktail of pills.

Lush, but hey don't we all enjoy a good time sometimes? I don't think drunk once in a while is a lush. She might want to stop drinking all together if she cannot drink without getting to that point but c'mon, it is hard to be that perky and cute and 'on' all the time. She's gotta maintain somehow ;-)

I read somewhere that she has a pill problem due to chronic back pain from a car accident a few years ago. Odd behavior aside it's pretty sad.

sista was on sometin the other day-----at the very beginning she was already on her knees........poor thing and she wonder why she's always in the news...........she needs help bad
